Stephen Emery is a Managing Director of Sales & Trading with Mission. Mr. Emery joined Mission in June of 2002, and throughout his tenure he has managed and closed in excess $6.0 billion of consumer loan, commercial & residential real estate loan, bankruptcy claim and commercial & municipal equipment lease sales. Additionally, Mr. Emery has been responsible for the ongoing development and oversight of Mission's web-based asset trading platform and several technology related initiatives.
Prior to joining Mission, Mr. Emery was with Banc of America Securities, LLC, where he worked in the Retail and Consumer Investment Banking Group. During his tenure with BAS, Mr. Emery was involved in transactions raising capital in excess of $850 million for clients including Nordstrom Department Stores, Brinker International and Electronics Boutique as well as M&A transactions for retailers and restaurants including Sbarro, Inc. Mr. Emery received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX with an emphasis on Finance and Economics. Mr. Emery studied Real Estate Finance at New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
