Jason Cohen is a Managing Director of Sale & Trading with Mission. Prior to joining Mission Capital Jason Cohen served as a managing director of Ackman-Ziff, a New York advisory firm which he joined in 2003. He was responsible for relationship development and management, as well as for management of client transactions. At Ackman-Ziff, Jason has closed in excess of $2.5 billion in transaction value. This included debt, joint venture equity and highly structured mezzanine and preferred equity transactions.
Previously, Jason spent three years as a senior vice president at Carlton Advisory Services a real estate brokerage firm. Before that, he served as a director of acquisitions and finance at Philips International, a real estate investment trust, where he developed new sources of capital for the firm and sought properties to acquire. Jason also has real estate appraisal, banking and property and note sale experience from his time with the RTC and Apple Bank. Jason earned a B.S. in business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
