Jordan Ray is the Principal of The Debt & Equity Finance Group at Mission, which he founded in 2009. Jordan has been honored with such industry awards as the 2016 Real Estate Finance and Investment Magazine - Mortgage Broker of the Year Award, the 2013 and 2012 Observer Top 20 under 35 and the 2017 NYU Schack Institute Financing Deal of the Year. Jordan sits on the board and co founded EquityMultiple - an online marketplace real estate finance company - in 2015. Jordan is also actively involved in UK/European real estate financing.

Background

Jordan is the proud dad to Otis and Edie, husband to Samantha, and among other things is: an avid skier, world traveler, reader, podcast listener, lover of great food and drink. Jordan is a devout and practicing Montreal Canadiens fan.

Prior to joining Mission Capital, Jordan served as Managing Director at The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group LLC, a New York Real Estate Capital Advisory Firm which he joined in 2002. Jordan graduated from New York University's real estate institute with a master's degree in real estate finance and investment and from American University with a B.A. in Finance.

Will Sledge is a Managing Director of Sales and Trading, where he oversees business development and project management for the Commercial Asset Sales Group. His team's responsibilities include the sourcing and sale of REO, commercial, C&I and residential loans as well as equipment lease and finance business.

Since joining the firm in 2003, Mr. Sledge has originated and closed billions of dollars of commercial, residential, C&I, and equipment lease and loan sales. Mr. Sledge represents banks, special servicers, private equity funds and other financial institutions nation-wide. Mr. Sledge also originates debt placement mandates on behalf of Mission's Debt and Equity Finance Group.

Mr. Sledge received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Alabama with an emphasis in Corporate Financial Management and Real Estate.

Background

Ms. Grotto joined Mission from Credit Suisse First Boston where she was a Director of mortgage trading. Ms. Grotto held the same position at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette prior to its acquisition by CSFB. Prior to DLJ, Ms. Grotto was at Fortress Investment Group where she was responsible for business development, specifically sourcing investment opportunities in non-performing and sub-prime assets for its various funds. Prior to Fortress, Ms. Grotto spent 17 years at GE Capital, where she was a Senior Vice President. Ms. Grotto held positions in sales management, business development and trading at various GE Capital subsidiaries including GE Mortgage Insurance, GE Mortgage Services, GE Asset Management and Kidder Peabody. Ms. Grotto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Babson College.

Dwight L. Bostic is the Managing Director of Residential Sales & Trading for Mission and has over 25 years of marketing, mortgage trading, risk management and operational management experience working for major financial firms and investment banks, including Credit Suisse, DLJ, Bayview Financial, Ocwen Financial, and Prudential Home Mortgage. As the head of Mission Capital Advisor's residential trading business, Mr. Bostic has advised high profile commercial and government clients on the more than $50 billion of residential mortgage loan portfolio sales and agency deliveries.

Additionally, Mr. Bostic serves on the Board of Directors and is Chief Marketing Officer for Mission Global, a full services due diligence services firms owned by Mission Capital.

Background

Dwight Bostic has demonstrated abilities in managing complex trading and operational management, asset pricing, deal structuring, transaction management, risk management and corporate finance. He was the lead advisor on the $1.2 billion residential loan sale for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 2012, HSBC's multi-year exit of their legacy portfolio, and American General Financial's structured whole loan sale to HSBC and HSBC's subsequent delivery to Fannie Mae during the depth of the mortgage market decline in 2009. Mr. Bostic received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with concentrations in finance and economics from West Virginia University.

Stephen Emery is a Managing Director of Sales & Trading with Mission. Mr. Emery joined Mission at inception of the firm in June of 2002, and throughout his tenure has managed and closed in excess $20 billion of commercial & residential real estate loan sales on behalf of clients including Bank of Montreal, Bank of the West, Bank of America, Keybank, Zions National Bank, Lone Star Funds, LNR Partners, ORIX Capital Markets, FirstBank Puerto Rico and numerous others.

Additionally, Mr. Emery has been responsible for the ongoing corporate development and oversight of Mission's various technology related initiatives including the Mission Market web-based asset-trading platform.

Background

Prior to joining Mission, Mr. Emery was with Banc of America Securities, LLC, where he worked in the Retail and Consumer Investment Banking Group. During his tenure with BAS, Mr. Emery was involved in transactions raising capital in excess of $850 million for clients including Nordstrom Department Stores and Brinker International. Mr. Emery received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX with an emphasis on Finance and Economics and studied Real Estate Finance at New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

Ari is a Managing Director in the Debt & Equity Finance Group at Mission Capital Advisors, where he oversees the firm’s placement and execution efforts for commercial real estate developers, owners and investors nationwide. Ari also leads Mission’s efforts in maintaining relationships with hundreds of capital sources and is responsible for business development including sourcing and evaluating new financing opportunities.

Background

Earlier in his career, Ari held senior positions as a lender at Nomura Asset Capital Corporation and Key Bank. Ari was a fellow in the Russell Berrie Foundation’s Leadership Development Program and is a founder of Unite4Unity. Ari is actively involved in AIPAC having served as a Vice Chair of its New Leadership Network and a member of its National Council. Currently an Adjunct Professor at Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, Ari has also lectured on real estate matters at Columbia University and at the Real Estate Board of New York. Ari also founded and co-chairs the Yeshiva University Real Estate Executive Circle (YUREE), an industry networking group that raises funds for the University. Ari is a graduate of YUHS (1984), Yeshiva University (BA in Economics 1988) and NYU’s Stern School of Business (MBA in Finance 1992).

William David Tobin is one of two founders of Mission Capital and a founder of EquityMultiple, an on-line loan and real estate equity syndication platform seed funded by Mission Capital. He has extensive transactional experience in loan sale advisory, real estate investment sales and commercial real estate debt and equity raising. In addition, Mr. Tobin is Chief Compliance Officer for Mission Capital.

Under Mr. Tobin’s guidance and supervision, Mission has been awarded and continues to execute prime contractor FDIC contracts for Whole Loan Internet Marketing & Support (loan sales), Structured Sales (loan sales) and Financial Advisory Valuation Services (failing bank and loss share loan portfolio valuation), Federal Reserve Bank of New York (loan sales), Freddie Mac (programmatic bulk loan sales for FHFA mandated deleveraging), multiple ongoing Federal Home Loan Bank valuation contracts and advisory assignments with the National Credit Union Administration.

Background

From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Tobin worked as an asset manager in the Asset Resolution Department of Dime Bancorp (under OTS supervision) where he played an integral role in the liquidation of the $1.2 billion non-performing single-family loan and REO portfolio. The Dime disposition program included a multi-year asset-by-asset sellout culminating in a $300 million bulk offering to many of the major portfolio investors in the whole loan investment arena. From 1994 to 2002, Mr. Tobin was associated with a national brokerage firm, where he started and ran a loan sale advisory business, heading all business execution and development.

Mr. Tobin has a B.A. in English Literature from Syracuse University and attended the MBA program, concentrating in banking and finance, at NYU’s Stern School of Business. He has lectured on the topics of whole loan valuation and mortgage trading at New York University’s Real Estate School. Mr. Tobin is a member of the board of directors of H Bancorp (www.h-bancorp.com), a $1.5 billion multi-bank holding company that acquires and operates community banks throughout the United States. Mr. Tobin is a member of the Real Estate Advisory Board of the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and a board member of A&M Sports / Clean Hands for Haiti.

Joseph A. Runk, Jr. is one of the two Principals of Mission, founded in 2002. He has over 25 years of experience in real estate capital markets and banking. He has advised a variety of commercial and government clients on the sale of nearly $70 billion of mortgage loan portfolios and over $150 billion of asset valuations. In his role as Principal, he has a responsibility for a wide range of professional services, with demonstrated abilities in asset pricing, deal structuring, transaction management, risk management and corporate finance. He has direct oversight of all three of the contracts with the FDIC (Valuation Advisor, Loan Sale Advisor, and Structured Sale Advisor) since 2009.

Background

Prior to founding Mission Capital, he was the head of nonperforming residential mortgage loan acquisitions at GMAC-RFC and Ocwen and was a bank examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Mr. Runk has BS degree in Economics from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Duke University.

Jonathan More is a Managing Director in the Debt & Equity Finance Group at Mission Capital, where he is responsible for originating, underwriting and structuring commercial real estate transactions nationwide on behalf of owner-operators, private equity firms, developers and family offices. Jonathan's diverse skill sets, deep market knowledge and industry relationships have proved critical in working through transactions and originating business over his 15-year real estate career.

Background

Prior to joining Mission Capital, Jonathan worked on the execution and originations teams for Ackman-Ziff, specializing in financing office, retail and residential properties, as well as loan sale advisory work. At Ackman-Ziff, Jonathan structured and completed $2.0 billion of closed debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, joint venture equity and loan sale transactions. Prior to Ackman-Ziff, Jonathan worked in leasing and investment sales for the Manhattan office of CBRE Group. Jonathan received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, and an M.B.A from Columbia Business School, where he placed first overall in the Bodini Competition for Real Estate Investment & Entrepreneurship. He is licensed as a real estate broker in the state of New York.

Mr. Vergara is a Managing Director of Sales and Trading with Mission Capital. He has over 20 years of domestic and international experience in investment banking, sales and marketing, private equity, real estate, and mortgage valuation and loan sale advisory. While at Mission Capital, he has transacted over $20 billion in U.S. and international mortgage loan and REO portfolio sales and valued approximately $300 billion in mortgage loan portfolios on behalf of public and private financial institutions and governmental clients such as the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY), FDIC, and Federal Home Loan Banks (FHLBs).

Mr. Vergara has extensive experience in the mortgage industry sourcing and trading portfolios of performing and non-performing residential and commercial mortgage whole loans and REO assets. Portfolios comprise seasoned performing, scratch-and-dent, and other distressed assets of varying credit categories (prime, Alt-A, subprime), mortgage types (fixed rate, adjustable rate, first and second liens), and collateral types. He also has a deep background in valuing portfolios, structuring pooling and asset selection strategies, and providing asset sale recommendations to clients. Mr. Vergara is responsible for managing all phases of deal execution, including marketing, investor communications, due diligence management, contract negotiations, and closing.

Background

Prior to joining Mission Capital, Mr. Vergara served as Director of Business Development for PayQuik, which was acquired by Citigroup and provides electronic payments solutions for U.S. and foreign financial institutions. He also previously worked at Tower Hill Capital Group (THCG), Inc., Santander Investment Securities Inc. (brokerage and investment banking arm of Banco Santander Central Hispano), and CIBC World Markets (formerly known as Oppenheimer & Co., Inc.) in private equity, investment banking and advisory, and high yield/distressed debt trading capacities. Mr. Vergara received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia and MBA in Finance and Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a recipient of the coveted Howard E. Mitchell Fellowship award. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
