Jordan sits on the board and co founded EquityMultiple - an online marketplace real estate finance company - in 2015. Jordan is also actively involved in UK/European real estate financing.

Jordan is the proud dad to Otis and Edie, husband to Samantha, and among other things is: an avid skier, world traveler, reader, podcast listener, lover of great food and drink. Jordan is a devout and practicing Montreal Canadiens fan.

Will Sledge is a Managing Director of Sales and Trading, where he oversees business development and project management for the Commercial Asset Sales Group. Since joining the firm in 2003, Mr. Sledge has originated and closed billions of dollars of commercial, residential, C&I, and equipment lease and loan sales. Mr. Sledge represents banks, special servicers, private equity funds and other financial institutions nation-wide. Stephen Emery is a Managing Director of Sales & Trading with Mission. Prior to joining Mission, Mr. Emery was with Banc of America Securities, LLC, where he worked in the Retail and Consumer Investment Banking Group. During his tenure with BAS, Mr. Emery was involved in transactions raising capital in excess of $850 million for clients including Nordstrom Department Stores and Brinker International. Mr. Emery received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX with an emphasis on Finance and Economics and studied Real Estate Finance at New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

William David Tobin is one of two Principals of Mission, founded in 2002. He has extensive transactional experience in loan sale advisory, investment banking and commercial real estate debt and equity raising. From 1994 to 2002, Mr. Tobin was associated with a national brokerage firm, where he started and ran a loan sale advisory business, heading all business execution and development. David is also actively involved in UK/European real estate financing.

Background

From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Tobin worked as an asset manager in the Asset Resolution Department of Dime Bancorp (under OTS supervision) where he played an integral role in the liquidation of the $1.2 billion non-performing single-family loan and REO portfolio. The Dime disposition program included a multi-year asset-by-asset sellout culminating in a $300 million bulk offering to many of the major portfolio investors in the whole loan investment arena. Mr. Tobin has a B.A. in English Literature from Syracuse University and attended the MBA program, concentrating in banking and finance, at NYU's Stern School of Business. He has lectured on the topics of whole loan valuation and mortgage trading at New York University's Real Estate School. Mr. Tobin is a member of the board of directors of H Bancorp (www.h-bancorp.com), a $1.5 billion multibank holding company that acquires and operates community banks throughout the United States. Mr. Tobin is also a member of the Real Estate Advisory Board of the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.

Under Mr. Tobin's guidance and supervision, Mission has been awarded and continues to execute prime contractor FDIC contracts for Whole Loan Internet Marketing & Support (loan sales), Structured Sales (loan sales) and Financial Advisory Valuation Services (failing bank and loss share loan portfolio valuation), Federal Reserve Bank of New York (loan sales), Freddie Mac (programmatic bulk loan sales for FHFA mandated deleveraging) and multiple ongoing Federal Home Loan Bank valuation contracts. In addition, Mr. Tobin is Chief Compliance Officer for Mission Capital.

Joseph A. Runk, Jr. is one of the two Principals of Mission, founded in 2002. He has over 25 years of experience in real estate capital markets and banking. He has advised a variety of commercial and government clients on the sale of nearly $70 billion of mortgage loan portfolios and over $150 billion of asset valuations. In his role as Principal, he has a responsibility for a wide range of professional services, with demonstrated abilities in asset pricing, deal structuring, transaction management, risk management and corporate finance. He has direct oversight of all three of the contracts with the FDIC (Valuation Advisor, Loan Sale Advisor, and Structured Sale Advisor) since 2009.

Background

Prior to founding Mission Capital, he was the head of nonperforming residential mortgage loan acquisitions at GMAC-RFC and Ocwen and was a bank examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Mr. Runk has BS degree in Economics from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Duke University.

Prior to joining Mission Capital, Jonathan worked on the execution and originations teams for Ackman-Ziff, specializing in financing office, retail and residential properties, as well as loan sale advisory work. At Ackman-Ziff, Jonathan structured and completed $2.0 billion of closed debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, joint venture equity and loan sale transactions. Prior to Ackman-Ziff, Jonathan worked in leasing and investment sales for the Manhattan office of CBRE Group. Jonathan received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, and an M.B.A from Columbia Business School, where he placed first overall in the Bodini Competition for Real Estate Investment & Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Mission Capital, Steven served as a Senior Associate of Acquisitions at the Athena Group, a private real estate development and investment company specializing in infill multifamily acquisition of almost $1 billion worth of real estate. Steven led the acquisitions process on the West Coast for over two years of his five years at Athena, and was the primary contact for lenders, sellers, brokers, and investors in Los Angeles. Mr. Buchwald also has extensive experience as a Financial Analyst and has consulted for several real estate companies including the WJCK Investors, Farmer & Flier, the Borman Group, and Universe Holdings. He is also responsible for assisting in Mission Capital's efforts in maintaining relationships with hundreds of capital sources, and assisting originators in business development, including sourcing and evaluating new debt and equity financing opportunities.

Background

Alex has been involved in single-family residential property acquisitions, dispositions and management services, as well as commercial real estate dispositions, in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director of The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group, headquartered in New York, and was responsible for the firm's operations and relationships in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Alex joined Ackman-Ziff in January 2001, and successfully closed approximately $2.6 billion in debt, mezzanine, and equity financing on approximately 60 transactions in his time at the company. Alex's responsibilities included sourcing, underwriting, structuring, marketing, negotiating, and closing debt, mezzanine, and equity transactions for all property types, including office, retail, residential, mart, land, hotel, and industrial / logistics. Alex also did consulting work for a leading non-bank-affiliated issuing house listed on the German stock exchange. Earlier in his career, Alex was an Associate at Sonnenblick-Goldman Company from 1998 to 2000, where he successfully closed in excess of $625 million in sales and debt and equity financings. Prior to 1998, Alex was a Senior Corporate Paralegal at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae and a Corporate Paralegal at Hunton & Williams, where he closed in excess of $5 billion of structured finance, M&A, oil and gas, and real estate transactions. Malcolm ran the Trade Support and Operations Group at MFA, working with Portfolio Managers and counterparties, to successfully execute on multiple initiatives, including bespoke financing arrangements, asset repositioning, and whole loan deal closing and financing. Prior to that, Malcolm worked at Goldman Sachs for six years, where he held the title of Vice President and ran the GSAM Trade Middle Office group, overseeing trade support across multiple business units, for products including MBS, ABS, Bank Loans and bespoke derivatives. Malcolm graduated with a BA in Modern Art, Design and Film, from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, U.K.

Notable transactions include 10 Sullivan in New York City, The Essex Tower & Hotel in Chicago, 1QPS Tower in Long Island City, the Washington Park Hotel in Miami Beach, and 995 Market Street in San Francisco. His primary responsibilities include debt placement, client and investor correspondence, and preparation of financial models and investment materials.

Background

Prior to joining Mission Capital, Jamie was an acquisitions analyst and Beck Street Capital and Time Equities, Inc., two private real estate investment and development firms located in New York City. Jamie graduated from NYU with a Masters of Science in Real Estate Finance & Investment in May 2013 and previously completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a B.S. in American History and a minor in Urban Studies and Planning in May 2009.
